Executive profile: Deborah Stone discusses farm life and product development

Deborah Stone’s farming roots go back to her parents and grandparents.
Growing up on a farm with horses, she ended up returning to that lifestyle after running her own spa for several years. In 1999, she and her husband Russell bought the land that would become Stone Hollow Farmstead. A few years later, they established the farm. Everything from various jams, jellies, pickled foods and goat cheese to dahlia flowers and skin care products have come from the farm that Stone and her daughter Alex operate together. For products and gift items, people can visit the retail store, FarmStand, at Pepper Place.
